On Second Thought, Who Is This Bryant fellow?
When the Liberian warring factions
selected Bryant as chairman of Liberia's Transitional Government, little did
they know Bryant had been a business partner of the deposed Liberian leader,
Charles Taylor. He allegedly brought into the country United Nations banned
weapons to help kill the Liberian people. It was a mistake to have Bryant in
this position. This is an insult to the people of Liberia.
Bryant, as it has been contended,
claims the Liberian government owes him four or more million dollars. How
did Liberia come to owe this man that kind of money? Besides bringing arms
into the country for Taylor against UN ban, what other business did he
conduct with the Liberian people/government?
There are so many questions Bryant has
to answer, and it will begin right here. He may also extend the date for
presidential elections. When will disarmament end, and census begin? There
are more questions for Chairman Bryant.
